Do you really want for your children and grandchildren to live through another repeat of the hate, division and chaos of 2020? Then Vote!
Our children look up to us; don’t let them down…
In his final farewell from the late U.S. Rep. John Lewis, he said “If we are to survive as one unified nation, we must discover what so readily takes root in our hearts that could rob Mother Emanuel Church in South Carolina of her brightest and best, shoot unwitting concertgoers in Las Vegas and choke to death the hopes and dreams of a gifted violinist like Elijah McClain.”
Lewis’ recent death came at a time of much division and hatred towards one another here in America today.
We’ve all seen the images and video footage along with their stories of hate, brutality and even murder aimed at people of color. We’ve heard the litany of the victims’ names.
The Black Lives Matter movement grew up out of these tragedies as more and more people decry a system that has systematically felt like a knee on all of their necks for countless decades, based only on their skin color.
In the face of such evil, we must not remain silent. Even our youngest children know this is wrong.
It is time for all patriotic Americans to stand up, demand accountability and raise our collective voices for those who are being hurt. Now is the time for us to find the courage and confidence to speak up in order to reclaim our sense of humanity and community.
In this presidential election, it’s really a stark comparison between Joe Biden and Donald Trump. This is a choice between hatred or healing? A will to unite or further divide? A tax code benefitting the 1% or ALL Americans? Democracy or Tyranny?
Our children and grandchildren are watching us this election day. Vote for them and their future…
